PLC provides dog services to customers at their homes or at our location.
- Dog Training
Typically, obedience training starts at least six months old. However positive-based training can begin at ages much younger. Note that most puppies will not have received the necessary vaccinations to be safely brought out in public around other dogs. In order for a puppy to be admitted into a basic obedience training class, the dog must have received the proper vaccinations.
PLC implements positive reinforcement techniques to eliminate or curtail undesirable behaviors labeled as “nuisance” by dog owners. These nuisance behaviors are typically normal dog behavior that becomes inappropriate when demonstrated in our human environment.
Dogs will go through behavior modification that will correct behaviors, such as unwanted jumping, aggression, and barking toward other dogs and humans. Walking and leash control while reinforcing heal, sit, stay come, down, and the word “no” is reinforced through the training lesson.
PLC training services are offered at hourly and packaged rates. The dog training program and rates will be determined after our free consultation.
- Dog Walking
Walking is especially important to your dog’s mental stimulus and helps with socialization with other dogs and humans.
With your hectic schedule, you might not be home or have time to walk your dog as needed. We will come to your location at the scheduled time and take your pet out for a much-needed walk.

- Puppy Play Date
PLC knows the importance of socialization with other dogs and humans is vital to a dog’s development. Playdates train your dog to become more approachable and more accepting of people. We offer playdates at our location or your location at hourly rates.

- Pet Sitting and Boarding
PLC knows how important it is to have someone you trust to take care of your dog while you are away.
We offer Pet Sitting – we will come to your house as needed to walk, feed, and play with your dog.
We offer Pet Boarding – you can drop off your dog at our location, minimum 2-night stay.
